Following SuperPoligrip Recall in Japan, Chaffin Luhana Continues Investigation of Denture Cream Lawsuits
March 5th, 2010Today, the Japanese subsidiary of GlaxoSmithKline (GSK), announced that it will begin a voluntary recall on Poligrip denture cream in Japan. The news follows GSK’s February 18th announcement that it will cease manufacture, marketing and distribution of Poligrip products containing zinc in the United States. SuperPoligrip, the American product, and Poligrip EX, the Japanese product, both contain the mineral zinc, which if ingested in excessive amounts may cause extremely disabling side effects.
