The NYLJ Profiles Chaffin Luhana LLP, The Firm Opens Its New Offices and Its New Website is Launched

Chaffin Luhana LLP announced that it was selected by the New York Law Journal for a Special Report on “Entrepreneurs in the Law” that was published today, the Firm has moved to new office space in New York City on the 42nd Floor of the Chanin Building and it launched its new website, www.ChaffinLuhana.com

The New York Law Journal ran a Special Report today called, “Entrepreneurs in the Law.”  The Report includes a story entitled, “Tales From the Front Lines,” written by Thomas Adcock, that profiles various New York law firms that “march to a different drummer.”  One of the select New York firms profiled is Chaffin Luhana LLP.  The article quotes both founding partners, Eric Chaffin and Roopal Luhana, on some of the litigation the firm handles and highlights how they bring their shared “idealism to work” for their clients.

Reflecting on the state of the firm and the recognition from the NYLJ, Chaffin stated: “We are coming up on just the third month of our firm.  We hit the ground running and we’ve already achieved a significant settlement for two of our securities clients, GSK withdrew Super Poligrip with zinc last month, we won an important motion on punitive damages in the denture cream zinc poisoning cases in Philadelphia, and the NYLJ, which covers one of the most competitive legal markets in the country, just profiled our firm and our cases.  We do what we love here at Chaffin Luhana and we think it shows in the results we achieve and the recognition that we are fortunate enough to receive.  The NYLJ coverage of our firm recognizes how we tackle litigation in unique ways, our idealism, and our firm motto, which is ‘Doing Good by Doing Right.’”

In addition to being profiled by the NYLJ today, the firm moved to the 42nd Floor of the Chanin Building last week and launched its new website, www.ChaffinLuhana.com, last Friday.  The firm opened its doors in January with temporary space on Madison Avenue while it negotiated a lease and space that would allow the Firm to grow.  “We are handling some significant national litigation and have a lot of cases so we are definitely growing as we find the right people.  In fact, we just hired another lawyer last month,” said Managing Partner Eric Chaffin.  “In terms of space, it was also important to us to stay in the Grand Central area, where we have been for the past several years, and we are thankful that we are able to do that.  Our broker, Edward Kang of Studley in New York, was instrumental in finding us the right space and navigating us through the lease process,” said Chaffin.

Chaffin Luhana is a plaintiffs-only law firm with a national trial practice focused on representing plaintiffs in mass tort, securities, and whistleblower cases in federal and state courts across the country.  The founding partners, Eric Chaffin and Roopal Luhana, have an established record of quality, integrity, experience and leadership in the national plaintiffs’ bar and have been counsel in cases that have resulted in recoveries exceeding $900 million in a wide array of consumer and shareholder litigations.  The firm prides itself in providing clients with high quality representation designed to achieve the clients’ specific goals and needs.
