Partner Eric Chaffin to Speak at ACI’s National Advanced Forum on Managing and Resolving Mass Tort Products Liability Claims

New York, New York – August 17, 2010 – Chaffin Luhana announced that Partner Eric Chaffin will be a guest speaker at the American Conference Institute’s (ACI’s) National Advanced Forum on “Managing and Resolving Mass Tort Products Liability Claims: Devising Novel End-Game Strategies in Bet-the-Company Litigation.” The forum will take place from September 29-30, 2010 at the Helmsley Park Lane Hotel in New York City.

The two-day event will discuss the many facets and challenges involved in the evolving world of mass torts and host speeches from a diverse faculty of experts, in addition to panel discussions. Among the distinguished speakers are many federal and state court judges from across the country who will provide insight as to how cases within the products liability field are interpreted and heard within the court. Additionally, in-house counsel from various Fortune 500 and pharmaceutical companies will be in attendance and speaking as well. Mr. Chaffin will be presenting “A View from the Plaintiff’s Bar,” which will address current aspects and challenges of plaintiff litigation. 

            The American Conference Institute is based in New York and organizes more than 220 conferences a year. The Institute provides opportunities for its attendants to learn more about developing trends and changes in a range of fields within the business world. ACI has affiliates in both Toronto and London which enables them to host events all over the world.
