Raelyn received her bachelor’s degree in Marketing and Management at Duquesne University. She previously worked in the health and restaurant industries, which helped her garner extensive customer service skills.

She is a Pittsburgh native, and an enthusiastic supporter of the Pirates and Steelers. In her spare time, besides cheering on her favorite sports teams, Raelyn enjoys crafting and making jewelry. She also enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and high-spirited dogs, Quirky and Pyper.

Raelyn’s 2017 Chaffin Luhana Foundation charity donation was to the South Hills Pet Rescue. As an avid pet lover, Raelyn is proud to support a local rescue whose door is always open, even if an adoption doesn’t work out.

“My father was a union witness at an arbitration in a steel mill outside of Pittsburgh. After the hearing, my father, dressed in blue jeans and a sweatshirt, stuck out his hand to shake hands with the company’s lawyer. The lawyer refused. The lawyer was not upset because my dad got the best of him but because he frowned upon working class people. I was the first person in my family to graduate from college. My dad used this story to remind me to respect others, to remember where I came from and as an example of how not to conduct myself as a lawyer.”
