D’Khorvillyn Tyus

Before joining Chaffin Luhana, D’Khorvillyn completed a fellowship in Pittsburgh working with a local humanitarian relief foundation. D’Khorvillyn is originally from Atlanta, but completed her bachelor’s degree at the College of Wooster where she studied Political Science and played rugby.
In her free time, she enjoys reading, baking and playing video games. She also enjoys traveling around the globe and hopes to get to every continent one day.
D’Khorvillyn’s 2020 Chaffin Luhana Foundation charity donation was The Boris Lawrence Henson Foundation. Says D’Khorvillyn, “This foundation does the work of addressing the stigmatization of mental health and works to provide meaningful mental health resources, such as therapy, in vulnerable communities. I personally believe many lives could be saved if therapy and counseling services were more openly discussed, and so I’m very proud to support this worthy cause.”
