Isabelle received her bachelor’s degree from Colby College, where she studied Government and was an Assistant Captain on the Women’s Ice Hockey Team. She also worked for her college’s sexual violence prevention program, helping to develop the sexual violence education program for first- and second-year students.
Before moving to New York, Isabelle interned at her college’s General Counsel’s Office and at Bernstein Shur, Maine’s premier law firm. She is hoping to pursue law school in two years. In her free time Isabelle enjoys astronomy, sports, watching movies, exercising, and reading.
Isabelle’s 2020 Chaffin Luhana Foundation charity donation was to Caracole Cincinnati. Caracole does invaluable work to support people living with HIV/AIDS. Caracole has been around since the height of the AIDS Epidemic in 1987 and has long recognized the epidemic as a public health crisis. They combat HIV/AIDS on three separate levels: they provide education and testing/treatment services to prevent the spread of the virus, they provide housing for those living with HIV/AIDS to combat the homelessness crisis within the health crisis, and they help individuals get the care they need.
