Katelyn’s 2020 Chaffin Luhana Foundation charity donation was to Support to End Exploitation Now (SEEN) of the Children’s Advocacy Center of Suffolk County. This program adopts a multidisciplinary approach in response to child trafficking, which continues, unfortunately, to be extremely prevalent in our society today. SEEN is a unique partnership that facilitates a coordinated, united response for victims of child trafficking, in which more than 35 public/private agencies (i.e., prosecutors, police officers, the Department of Children & Families, the FBI, and more) come together with the particular goal of serving the victims. They are leaders in the field of response against commercial sexual exploitation of children and fight daily on their behalf.
