Lyssa attended Frostburg State University in Maryland where she received a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. Prior to joining Chaffin Luhana, Lyssa was a social worker for the last five years, serving individuals with disabilities as well as the homeless population.
In her free time, Lyssa spends time volunteering in the community and is involved with her church. She enjoys cooking and creating new recipes to share with her friends, as well as spending time with her husband and dogs.
In 2020, Lyssa’s Chaffin Luhana Foundation charity donation was to Miracle League Baseball, an organization that ensures that anyone that wants to play baseball is able to do so – all the while providing an encouraging and team-based atmosphere that has no barriers.
