Miriam Aliaga

Miriam earned her Master of Science in Nursing with an Emphasis in Leadership in Health Care Systems in 2021. Before that in 2016, Miriam earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from The University of Texas at Arlington. During her time in college, she was an enthusiastic leader on campus in multiple organizations.Miriam was born in Texas and has lived there her entire life.

Previously to joining the Chaffin Luhana team, Miriam worked for a Medical Center in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit and the Progressive Care Unit. Her proudest work accomplishment was establishing a resilience education program that helped improve new graduate nurses’ retention during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and sweet two-year-old son. She also has an old English bulldog and two cats.

Charity Nominations

2022: Miriam’s Chaffin Luhana Foundation charity donation was to Ronald McDonald House Charity this year. Miriam was inspired to support this organization with the goal of helping to alleviate financial burdens for parents with sick children.
