Nicholas Farnolo

Nicholas R. Farnolo is a Partner of Chaffin Luhana. Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, Nicholas’ parents were both physically disabled, instilling in him a strong sense of compassion and patience for the less fortunate.

Nicholas is an experienced litigator who has devoted his entire career to representing consumers and personal injury victims. The primary focus of Nicholas’ practice is on the litigation of complex mass tort matters, typically involving defective drugs, defective consumer products, and defective medical devices. Nicholas also regularly handles traditional personal injury litigation, including product liability, medical malpractice, negligence, and wrongful death actions in both the New York metro area and throughout the United States. With his tenacious approach, Nicholas has been integral in the successful recovery of hundreds of millions of dollars for his clients over the length of his career.

Nicholas has also had the privilege of being appointed to serve on several Plaintiff’s Steering Committees in defective medical device litigations.

Himself a survivor of a life-threatening abdominal perforation which required a Hartmann’s procedure, Nicholas is particularly attuned to the needs and concerns of medical device survivors.

Prior to joining Chaffin Luhana, Nicholas served as a Law Clerk to the Honorable Ronald B. Sokolski, in the New Jersey Superior Court where he assisted during courtroom proceedings and served as a mediator in qualifying landlord-tenant and small claims disputes. Nicholas also gained valuable experience as a Summer Associate in the Office of the Kings County District Attorney, where he researched and wrote appellate briefs to the Appellate Division, Second Department and appeared on behalf of the People of the State of New York during arraignment proceedings.

When Nicholas is not working with clients, he enjoys spending time with his family, handling do-it-yourself projects around his home, and working with local charities.
