Mr. Chaffin and Ms. Luhana were class counsel in the IPO Securities Litigation, which was the largest coordinated set of securities class actions in history. Mr. Chaffin and Ms. Luhana have also handled various successful securities arbitrations on behalf of individual investors that resulted in significant seven-figure settlements.

Some of the civil securities cases that our attorneys have litigated successfully include:

  • $586 million settlement in the In re IPO Securities Litigation against the largest investment banks on Wall Street;
  • Nearly $1.5 million in a pre-filing (FINRA) settlement for two investors whose broker invested them in unsuitable high-risk investments, including ETFs, that resulted in a swift recovery significantly more than their market-adjusted out-of-pocket losses;
  • Seven figure settlement for a Para-Olympic skier in an NASD arbitration against her former broker for unsuitable investments; and
  • Nearly $1 million recovery in New York Supreme Court for an investor who suffered significant losses as a result of fraudulent analyst research reports.
