Charity Nominations

2023: Kaleb’s Chaffin Luhana Foundation charity donation was to the Autistic Self Advocacy Network this year. The Autistic Self Advocacy Network seeks to advance the principles of the disability rights movement with regard to autism. ASAN believes that the goal of autism advocacy should be a world in which autistic people enjoy equal access, rights, and opportunities.

2022: Kaleb’s Chaffin Luhana Foundation charity donation was to The Trevor Project last year. This organization is a national, 24-hour, toll-free, confidential suicide prevention service that provides crisis support for LGBTQ+ young adults in need.

2021: Kaleb nominated Bender Leadership Academy. This is a non-profit that helps youth and others with disabilities learn workplace skills that will assist them in seeking full-time employment.

2020: Kaleb nominated The Knights and Orchids Society/Astraea Foundation. The Knights and Orchids Society (TKO) is a southern centered grassroots startup founded and led by black, queer, transgender and gender non-conforming people fighting at the intersections of racial and gender justice.

2019: Kaleb nominated Persad Center. Kaleb’s contribution will help the Persad Center provide mental health services to the LGBTQ population in the Pittsburgh area. The Center also hosts several meetups, informative conferences and provide referrals for additional resources – such as advocates to accompany transgender individuals to appointments (for support and educational reasons).
