Accounting Clerk

The Accounting Clerk will perform daily accounting tasks including accounts payable and accounts receivableThey will maintain accurate financial records and assist with monthly financial reporting for the firm. 


  • Process accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.  Including but not limited to: 
    • Pulling expenses 
    • Updating QuickBooks accounts 
    • Managing expense reporting 
  • Maintain subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions. 
  • Balance subsidiary accounts by reconciling entries. 
  • Maintain historical financial records. 
  • Comply with federal, state, and local legal requirements. 
  • Assist Finance Director with month-end closing. 
  • Address inquiries and concerns from vendors and internal stakeholders regarding disbursements promptly and professionally. 


  • High school diploma or equivalent. 
  • Accounting Certificate, associate in accounting, or equivalent work experience and/or training is preferred. 
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 applications (Excel, Word, and Outlook) is required. 
  • Previous work experience with QuickBooks is preferred. 
  • Previous accounting experience is preferred.

Financial Benefits 

  • 401k Contributions: Discretionary match contribution of 5%, with the Firm matching 100% of the first 3% of the employee’s contribution and 50% of the employee’s next 2% of contribution of the employee’s annual compensation.
