Four Chaffin Luhana LLP Attorneys Recognized as N.Y. Super Lawyers in 2015

Chaffin Luhana LLP’s founding partners Eric Chaffin and Roopal Luhana, have been recognized as New York Metro Super Lawyers for 2015, and Associates Kendra Goldhirsch and Dori Milner have been recognized as New York Metro Super Lawyers Rising Star for 2015. This is the sixth year in a row that Mr. Chaffin has been selected for this honor. Ms. Luhana was named a Super Lawyers Rising Star in 2011 and was named one of the Top Women Attorneys in the New York Metro Area in 2012. This is the fifth year that Ms. Luhana has been recognized as a Super Lawyer.
Super Lawyers are nominated and selected through an attorney-led research team. Their process is comprised of several steps including receiving and reviewing nominations, conducting their own research, evaluating their choices and making final selections. The nominees are divided by firm size.
Chaffin Luhana is a plaintiffs-only law firm with a national trial practice focused on representing plaintiffs in products liability and pharmaceutical/medical device mass tort cases in federal and state courts across the country. The founding partners, trial lawyers Eric Chaffin and Roopal Luhana, have an established record of integrity, success and leadership in the national plaintiffs’ bar. The firm has three offices, located in New York City, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia. To date, Chaffin Luhana recovered over $100 million for its clients nationally, with individual case settlements as high as $9 million.
Mr. Chaffin and Ms. Luhana have built their practice around the motto “Doing Good by Doing Right.” In 2010 they established and funded the Chaffin Luhana Foundation, which is a non-profit to honor their humble roots and build upon the values instilled in them by their parents. The Foundation spokesperson is Stephani Victor, a five-time Paralympic medalist, and former client. Most recently, the Foundation sponsored a new media center at Oak Glen High School in West Virginia, Mr. Chaffin’s Alma Mater. The Foundation also sponsors driver awareness with the ongoing Chaffin Luhana Foundation Driver Awareness Challenge (CLF DRAW Challenge) to engage, encourage and empower students to find ways to end distracted driving.
