News: 1 left hurt, power outage reported after crash in North Huntingdon

WESTMORELAND COUNTY, PA — One person was extricated late Tuesday after a crash that caused a power outage in North Huntingdon Township, reports WPXI.

Authorities responded to the scene in the area of Turner Valley Road and Sycamore Drive shortly after 11:45 p.m.

The caused of the accident has not been released, but one person was left trapped in wreckage. First responders worked to extricate the patient before transporting them to a local hospital. Officials have not disclosed the extent of the injuries.

866 people in the area lost power at about 4:15 a.m., according to West Penn Power. By 5:25 a.m., the company’s website indicated power had been completely restored.
