ALLEGHENY COUNTY, PA — A woman was arrested for suspected DUI Thursday after a crash in Elizabeth Township that left injured two children, reports WPXI.

The wreck occurred in the 800 block of McKeesport Road, or Lincoln Boulevard, near Grand Eagle Supermarket.

Few details have been shared, but Elizabeth Township Police said the woman appeared to have been impaired when she crashed her vehicle. Two child passengers, ages 8 and 4, were not wearing seat belts at the time. The 8-year-old, who was sitting in the front passenger seat, struck the windshield, while the 4-year-old hit the back of the front passenger seat. Both children suffered head injuries.
