News: 2 hospitalized after crash on E Liberty Blvd in NE Pittsburgh

PITTSBURGH, PA — Two people were injured early Monday due to a two-vehicle wreck in Pittsburgh’s East Liberty neighborhood, according to WPXI.

The accident occurred at the corner of East Liberty Boulevard and Larimer Avenue, shortly after 4:30 a.m.

Officials have not said what caused the wreck, but video taken at the scene shows two cars with significant damage.

Two people were transported by ambulance to an area hospital with unspecified injuries. At this time, no information on their conditions have been disclosed.

Motorists were urged to take Centre Avenue as an alternate route as crews tended to the scene.
