News: 2 killed after single-vehicle crash in Harrisburg

HARRISBURG, PA – Two people died following a single-car crash on Route 22 Friday afternoon reports WHTM.

The fatal crash happened around noon as a driver in a Ford Escape was traveling on the 7000 block of Jonestown Road. A total of six occupants were in the vehicle when it crashed.

Two people were pronounced dead at the scene. Four others were taken to an area hospital to be treated for injuries.

Police say speed may have been a contributing factor in the crash, however, the investigation is ongoing.
