News: 3 injured in collision on PA-38 near Oakland Township

BUTLER COUNTY, PA — Three people were hospitalized Tuesday evening after a two-vehicle crash on Pennsylvania Route 33 in Oakland Township, according to WPXI.

Local police, fire crews, and EMS units were all called to the scene on PA-33, or Oneida Valley Road. Dispatchers first received the call at around 8:23 p.m.

Few details have been shared, but two people were rushed by medical helicopter to an area hospital. Another patient was transported by ground ambulance. At this time, officials have not disclosed any details regarding their conditions.

It remains unclear what caused the wreck, but no pending charges have been reported at this time.

An investigation by the Pennsylvania State Police was underway.
