News: At least 1 left injured after rollover crash on PA-28 in Troy Hill

ALLEGHENY COUNTY, PA — Multiple agencies responded to a rollover wreck Monday afternoon on Route 28 in Pittsburgh’s Troy Hill neighborhood, according to WPXI.

The accident happened on the inbound lanes near Hoff Street, in an area south of the 31st Street Bridge. It was first reported by WPXI Traffic at 12:27 p.m.

Few details have been released, but authorities said a vehicle overturned on a hillside, leaving at least one person hurt. Aerial footage captured at the scene shows a passenger car at rest on its roof at the hill’s bottom.

The right lane was announced closed as local police, firefighters, and EMS personnel worked the scene.

Authorities have not confirmed the number of those injured or indicated the severity of their injuries.
