News: Authorities called to multi-vehicle crash on I-376 WB near downtown Pittsburgh

PITTSBURGH, PA — A multi-vehicle wreck Thursday night blocked at least one lane on Interstate 376 near downtown Pittsburgh, according to 511PA Pittsburgh.

The accident impacted the westbound lanes at mile post 71, near 10th Street Bridge. It was first recorded by 511PA at 9:25 p.m.

No information regarding the cause of the crash or the involved vehicles has been shared, but a lane restriction was in place for at least 40 minutes.


By 10:05 p.m., crews had cleared the scene from the roadway and all travel lanes were restored to traffic.


Authorities have not confirmed any major injuries as of this writing.
