News: Driver injured after crashing into ambulance with patient onboard

PITTSBURGH, PA – A person was hospitalized after colliding with an ambulance at an intersection in New Castle Wednesday reports KDKA.

The collision happened near the intersection of East Washington Street and Butler Avenue as the driver of the ambulance was transported a patient to a Pittsburgh hospital.

The driver in the car that was struck, along with the patient in the ambulance were taken to UPMC Jameson.

Neither of the medics in the ambulance was injured.
