News: Driver injured as car crashes into Robinson restaurant

ALLEGHENY COUNTY, PA — One person was hospitalized Wednesday after their vehicle struck Primanti Bros. Restaurant and Bar in Robinson, according to WPXI.

The accident happened off Route 60 (Steubenville Pike) and East Windhaven Road. Members of the Moon Run Volunteer Fire Company responded to the scene shortly after.

It was unclear what led up to the wreck, but photos shared by the crew show a white Subaru overturned on its side, having become stuck between a retaining wall and the side of the restaurant. Part of the building’s exterior cinder block wall appeared to be damaged.

First responders extricated one occupant out of the wrecked vehicle before transporting the patient to a local hospital with minor injuries.

At this time, investigators have not disclosed the cause of the collision.

No pending charges or citations have been reported.
