News: Man flown to hospital after crash with tractor-trailer

SAXONBURG, PA – A man sustained potentially serious injuries after a head-on collision in Saxonburg this morning, reports local media. 

Around 10 a.m. drivers in a pickup truck and tractor-trailer crashed head-on at Ekastown Road near Saxonburg Boulevard.

Emergency crews found a man in the pickup unresponsive and rushed him to the airport where he was flown to a hospital in Pittsburgh.

It wasn’t clear whether the other driver was injured at this time. The incident remains under investigation.
