News: Multi-vehicle crash blocks lane on I-376 WB in Uptown Pittsburgh

ALLEGHENY COUNTY, PA — Authorities were called to a multi-vehicle wreck Wednesday morning on Interstate 376 in Pittsburgh’s Uptown area, according to 511PA Pittsburgh.

The accident impacted the westbound lanes of I-376 between Exit 71B to Second Avenue and Exit 71A to Grant Street, near Duquesne University. It was first recorded by 511PA at 8:21 a.m.

Officials have not disclosed the cause of the wreck, but at least one lane was closed in the immediate aftermath.


At 9:14 a.m., more than 50 minutes later, crews had cleared the scene and all lanes were reopened to traffic.


As of this writing, no injuries have been confirmed.
