News: Multi-vehicle wreck closes lane on I-376 WB near Churchill

ALLEGHENY COUNTY, PA — Authorities were called to a crash Sunday afternoon that blocked at least one lane on Interstate 376 east of Pittsburgh, according to 511PA Pittsburgh.

The accident occurred on the westbound lanes approaching Penn Avenue (Ardmore Boulevard/PA-8), near the Churchill borough. It was first recorded by 511PA at 1:45 p.m.

Few details have been shared at this time, but the lane restriction remained in place for over an hour, suggesting a major collision.

By 2:47 p.m., crews had cleared the vehicles from the roadway and all lanes were announced reopened.
