ALLEGHENY COUNTY, PA — A multi-vehicle crash early Thursday partially blocked Interstate 376 near Pittsburgh’s Frick Park, according to 511PA Pittsburgh.

The accident happened on the westbound lanes at milepost 75.5, between Exit 77 to Edgewood Avenue/Swissvale and Exit 74 to Squirrel Hill/Homestead. It was first reported by 511PA at 4:09 a.m.

Officials did not say what caused the wreck, but all westbound lanes were initially closed.

A few minutes later, the scene appeared to have been moved to a shoulder and away from traffic lanes.

By 5:35 a.m., more than an hour later, the scene had been cleared from the roadway and all lanes were reopened to traffic.

It remains unclear at this time whether anyone was injured.
