News: School bus crash reported in Pittsburgh’s East Liberty area

PITTSBURGH, PA — Students were medically evaluated Tuesday morning after a crash involving a school bus in northeast Pittsburgh, according to WPXI.

The collision occurred at the intersection of Penn Avenue and North Negley Avenue, in the city’s East Liberty neighborhood. Dispatchers first received the call at about 9:10 a.m.

It was unclear what led up to the crash, but authorities said the school bus and another vehicle collided.

Students who were aboard the bus at the time were evaluated by medics at the scene. No injuries were reported, and no one had to be transported to a hospital from the site.

At this time, authorities have not indicated any pending charges or citations.
