Genna Fukuda

Genna received her bachelor’s degree from Columbia University, where she studied Economics and Political Science. Before joining the firm, Genna worked as a Risk Analyst at a leading global law firm where she focused on sanctions regulations and firm policy compliance.
Outside the office, Genna volunteers with Court Watch to improve the transparency and accountability of the criminal legal system, and as a member of the financial committee for a local South Bronx charter school aimed towards the dual language education of low-income students.
In her free time, Genna enjoys going to modern art museums, playing soccer, and sewing.
In 2020, Genna’s Chaffin Luhana Foundation Charity donations were to the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU). Genna says “I chose this charity because of the wonderful work this organization does for a variety of causes; donating to the ACLU enables them to advocate and lobby in legislatures at the federal and local level to advance civil liberties for all of us.”
