In 2019, Jocelyn’s Chaffin Luhana Foundation charity donation was to Save Our Streets (S.O.S.) Bronx, a program by the Center for Court Innovation seeks to end gun violence at the neighborhood level by changing local norms. With an emphasis on prevention, Jocelyn’s contribution will aid the program and its mission to defuse conflicts before they escalate.
In 2020, Jocelyn’s Chaffin Luhana Foundation charity donation was to Until Freedom, an intersectional social justice organization rooted in the leadership of diverse people of color to address systemic and racial injustice. Jocelyn says, “I chose this charity as this group advocates strongly for black people that were falsely accused of crimes and were victims of police brutality. Willing to put themselves out on the front lines fighting for what is right, Until Freedom focuses on investing in those who are the most directly impacted by cyclical poverty, inequality, and state violence.”
